Twisted stiffened hemp rope with one red and one green strand. Rope runs through a turned hollow wooden cylinder which slides up and down the length of rope so that the loop on the end can be adjusted, similar to a slip knot. The cylinder is 6 3/4" long, and 9" in diameter around top, tapering to 5 1/2" in diameter at the bottom. The 9" diameter top is capped with a disk made of a hardened black tar substance held in place with four nails. One end of the rope is tied to form a loop, the opposite end is taped. Other end is cut and taped.
