Brass bugle consisting of two brass coils. On the top side of the bugle approximately three inches from the bell rim is a silver plated eyelet for the bugle strap. The other silver plated eyelet is outside of the brass coil just below the mouth piece. Each brass coil is connected with a silver plated ring. In front of silver plated ring near the mouthpiece is a brass tension key. Located at the smallest coil is a circular valve with a threaded cover on left side. Included with the bugle were two different sized mouth pieces. One mouth piece (a) is silver plated and has a 1.25 in diameter blowhole. The other (b) is off brass and has a .75 in diameter blowhole.
